April 2025 – Thompson Innovative Glass is proud to announce the opening of its newest advanced lamination facility in West Michigan, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to innovation, safety, and customer partnership.
The new plant—strategically located in Jenison—is home to a state-of-the-art lamination line dedicated to producing Defender™ bullet-resistant and forced-entry glass, as well as other high-performance laminated glass products. This expansion significantly enhances our capacity and flexibility in serving demanding commercial, government, and institutional projects nationwide.
The West Michigan facility was developed to meet the growing demand for protective and specialty glass products that require advanced lamination techniques, precise quality control, and increased throughput. Designed with scalability in mind, the plant strengthens Thompson’s vertically integrated capabilities across both safety and architectural markets.
This addition is the latest in a series of strategic moves reinforcing Thompson’s position as a leader in the glass industry, combining decades of experience with forward-thinking technology and responsive service.
